God has recently burdened me with a large task, but one I am willing to take on.  It all started one night, as I was laying in bed, I was thinking about a God and I time devotional booklet that a friend from the Wilds was going to bring for me.  And at the same moment, I was thinking about Brazil, and God just suddenly gave me this amazing burden!  He has set a burden on me to send some of these booklets down to the teens in the church in Brazil.  As I thought about this, I thought of a few things that I would have to do to make this possible:

1. Where to get these devotional booklets

2. Translate them into Portuguese

3. How to get them down to Brazil

Well, as the weeks have gone by, God has made all three of these things possible, because God is just amazing like that!  One, I could easily get them from the Wilds.  Two, I found this sight by accident while doing some school research, where you can translate whatever, and however much, into any language you want.  And three, it just dawned on me that the missionaries that are in Brazil, are coming up for Christmas to visit their daughter here.  It would be the perfect opportunity to give it to them to take back down.  That way, we would know that the booklets made it down ok.

So anyway, that’s what God has been doing with me, and Lord willing this will happen, but I know if God wants it to, He will make it happen!

Hey guys!  Sorry I haven’t written in a long while, but my summer has been a little bit on the crazy side.  But hopefully now that I’m back and getting into the school schedule I’ll be able to keep you updated more on what’s going on with me.

Well, as you guessed from my title, I just got back from Brazil.  I went there on a missions trip with my church, and it was beyond words!  The sites, the people, and of the course the soccor playing!  I was in a city called Sao Paulo.  It’s about 6 hours away from Rio.  Anyway, it was absoulutley amazing!  If you ever have the chance to go there, go without a doubt in your mind!

While we were down there, probably one of the fondest memories I have from there is when we went to one of the public schools, and one of the things you will learn very quickly is that you are basically a celebrity to them.  My team going to the public school would really be the same craziness as if Johny Depp were to come to one of the American public schools.  That’s how much they love Americans!  They think that Americans are just the most amazing thing that ever was.  And in a way it’s kind of fun.  They are constantly wanting pictures of you and with you, they want to get your facebook, email, even just an autograph is ever whelming for them!  It’s pretty funny.  So in other words, if you ever go down to Brazil just be prepared, you have been warned!

Well, I have to go now, I will most likely be writing again soon, let you know a little more about my Brazil experience, and clue you in on some other random things that might be going on in my life!

This summer is really going to be an amazing experience for me.  Let me start off by telling you that I have already gotten off for summer about 3 weeks ago.  Now that school is done, I am going to be spending long nice hot days at the pool.  When July comes, that will be a different story.  When July comes my Grandparents are taking a cousin of mine and myself on vacation for about a week or so.  From there we will head up to NC where they will drop my cousin and me off at camp.  There we will spend an awesome week learning more about the Lord, and have tons of fun! 

After I get back from camp I will have about five days until I will leave on a missions trip to Brazil!  My church has set up a missions trip to go down to Brazil for about a week to visit one of our missionaries down there.  While we are down there we will be setting up little revivals, and going to school putting on dramas, and sharing the gospel.  And of course be eating really good food! 

So that is my summer, I hope you all have an awesome one as well!
